Behind the scenes at a McDonald’s photo shoot

Marketing x Photoshop x Food

Considering I’m a card-carrying nerd for all three of these things; this video was amazing.

Deviled Eggs (first attempt)
Eggs, mayonnaise, mustard powder, paprika, siracha

Pretzel Chicken at Great Lakes Brewing Company BrewPub in the Ohio City neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio
Gerber’s chicken encrusted with Pretzel served with Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, and a Burning River Pale Ale Mustard sauce
I’m convinced that 1) GLBC can do no wrong, and that 2) if they bottled their mustard sauce, they could make just money as much as they do on beer. It was incredible.
Next time, though, I’m getting the Pulled Pork. Not only is that a staple of mine when I go out, but it’s slathered in a BBQ sauce made with one of my favorite beers of all time, the Edmund Fitzgerald Porter.

Roasted Pork Tenderloin topped with a Apple-Mustard Chutney; served with Mashed Potatoes and Wilted Spinach
Most of the time when I cook, I make completely normal dishes that some people think are really good. Other times, I make stuff that’s pretty good - but didn’t come out the way I originally planned. Occasionally, however, I make something that even impresses myself. This was one of those times.
Heather, you were on to something!!
