Assorted Sushi at Thai Chef in Washington, DC Along with getting a few of the more “predictable” rolls, my brother and I chose the Spider Roll - Soft Shell Crab Tempura, Avocado, Spicy Mayo, Lettuce, and Masago (fish roe). It’s the one on the bottom left. The Spider Roll was my favorite out of the four we ordered, and the only one that had a warm element. The contrast of temperatures, along with the crunch from the tempura was excellent. We were given a great window seat and the service was fast; so this place definitely gets a thumbs up from me.

Soft Shell Crab Sandwich at The Sting Ray Cafe in New Bern, North Carolina Any seafood market, or any market for that matter, that doubles as a restaurant is going to have the freshest food; and therefore some of the best food. It’s always a good idea to find these places, no matter where you go… but especially when traveling on the coasts.
